Panoramix CD Vol 1 is a high resolution professional photography library CD-Rom. This CD contains 110 (over 610 megabytes) of beautiful photographs, all artistically motivated. These photographs cover many natural subjects, from majestic mountain ranges to scenic lakes to deserts scenes, ocean scapes to approaching storms to panoramic views to flowers and much more. All the photographs are suitable for publishing, advertising, brochures, DTP, multimedia etc. The outstanding attraction to this CD-Rom, is the raw beauty of the natural subjects; the professional high resolution photography and the very low suggested retail price.
This CD-Rom is also ideal for use in education for photography courses or specialized computer classes in many areas.
The quality of this product is reflected even in it's packaging. The full color photographs on the front and back cover of the CD jewel case, are photographs taken from the contents of the CD itself and designed and created all on Macintosh computers. The CD also has a full color photograph printed directly on it's surface, similar to the "collector's" CD's in the audio industry. This photo is a montage created from several photographs contained in the CD. The Photographs are represented on the CD in 24 bit TIFF files, 24 & 8 bit PICT files. They are categorized and organized in a manner that will allow ease of use and optimum access times. Also included is a previewer stack that will allow the user to locate and view any photograph on the CD as quickly as possible. To use this CD requires: Grey-Scale or Color capable Macintosh, with at least 1 megabyte ram, CD-Rom drive and most any graphics, DTP, or photo re-touching applications.
Another outstanding feature of Panoramix CD Vol 1, is the enclosed licensing agreement. This license allows the purchaser rights to manipulate the photos in any way and allows them to be commercially reproduced. There is no need for display of photo credits, nor are there any royalty payments required. The only major restriction is that the photographs cannot be directly sold or distributed for free or for profit. In essence the purchaser has rights to any commercial application - except direct sale of the photographs.
